Welcome to the Elmbridge Music History pages and story of its progress from its beginnings on 6 September 2005 to the present day.

With an enormous amount of hard work, fun and enjoyment we have raised a phenomenal amount of money for charity.  To date we have 132 members in the Mixed Choir, almost 100 members in the Ladies Choir, a Big Band of 26 musicians, a Young Musicians Band of almost 40 musicians and a host of Friends - aren't we doing well?

Our sincere thanks to Jill Lakin, our intrepid Poet, Writer, Scribe, rambler and producer of all things literary since the beginning of time ( well our time in any case..) who took the time to write this concise history of our organisation for posterity.

How did it all begin? We thought we would start at the very beginning - a very good place to start!
